A collection of skull symbols
The skull and crossbones is a universally-recongised warning sign. In my college years, I spent considerable time photographing and "cleaning" images of skull-and-crossbones symbols from power transformers and other electrical equipment across Turkey. The subtle varieties seen in the numerous iterations of this simple symbol were admirable, eye catching, and in cases, grotesque.
