Life on Snaiad
Life on Snaiad is similar to life on many other planets; inconceivably old and diverse, and full of surprises. Besides traditional "vertebrates," the planet is also home to widely different phyla such as Arthrognathans, Elastozoans, Trilateralans, Terrabivalves and weird animal-plant symbiotes, not to mention Green and Red plants and a whole host of other sessile organisms.
As cataloguing such diverse forms will be a lifelong task, we can currently focus only on a tiny part of life on Snaiad. Below are the illustrated plates linking to specific animal groups, all of them "vertebrates." The plates are arranged in a very loose cladistic order, starting from "primitive" animals and going on to more derived groups. With new discoveries and revisions weekly occurrences in the world of Snaiadi zoology, this list will doubtlessly continue to change and expand.
Before looking at the diversity of "vertebrate" life on Snaiad, you might also want to familiarize yourself with the details of Snaiadi "vertebrate" anatomy.
